State of the art safety management

GHS missions often take us to high-risk environments where safety awareness is critical to the success of the mission. We consistently prove ourselves to be up to the task. Our pilots and technical crews undergo stringent selection criteria, as well as ongoing training and development. Committed to zero accidents and zero injuries, safety is our top priority.

All of our activities, including helicopter maintenance, undergo accountability risk assessments. A well-structured and detailed documented data base of our operational history forms the basis for comprehensive and results-orientated safety performance measurements, from which we actively implement lessons learned based on the identification of potential vulnerabilities.

As evidence of our commitment to the highest levels of safety, efficiency and quality, the GHS Quality Management System for Commercial Helicopter Operations, as well as related Maintenance Tasks and Airworthiness Management, has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Implementing Bowtie processes and utilizing the IQSMS platform we keep our passengers and crew safe.

INTEGRATED QUALITY AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Global Helicopter Service has implemented an IQSMS (Integrated Quality and Safety Management System) that is a web based safety, quality and risk management system based on and in compliance with ICAO Doc. 9859 (ICAO Safety Management Manual). IQSMS has been developed by Safety and Quality Management experts with many years of experience in the aviation industry. Special focus is given to user friendliness and compliance with applicable regulations. Our integrated system consists of 5 modules, which cover the following areas:

  • Safety management
  • Quality management
  • Risk management
  • Flight risk assessment
  • CBT (Computer Based Training) on safety
